Industry leaders present their perspective and share their views on design, development, deployment, direction and regulation of existing and emerging communications and networking technologies that facilitate access, move and storage of network information and content. This session provides an unique opportunity to listen to top leaders of Telecommunications Industry and Government and Financial community presenting and debating the issues affecting future of Telecommunications, Networking, and related areas.

Shri R.N. Prabhakar is graduate in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and post graduate in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi. He is Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers (India). He has joined as Whole Time member, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament. TRAI regulates the telecom, broadcasting and cable TV section. Shri Prabhakar has 36 years of technical, administrative and financial experience in telecom sector and has held various senior level posts in Department of Telecommunications. Before retirement in January 2006, he was Advisor (Production), in the Department of Telecom, which has given him sufficient experience in the licensing and regulatory aspects. He also looked after the charge of Member (Production) in Telecom Commission. He has participated in various international seminars and workshops and has presented technical papers related to Network Security, Regulation and Public Policy etc. He was also deputed for a period of about three years to Nigeria for imparting training to their telecom officers. |

Sridhar has spent over 13 years in the global telecom industry and most recently was director marketing at IntelliNet Technologies Inc., a leading signaling infrastructure developer. Prior to that Sridhar was head of VoIP business at Network Solutions. He also was part of the original team that incubated the softswitch product at Xybridge Technologies Inc (later acquired by Zhone Technologies). Sridhar started his career with Motorola ISG group (Singapore and India). His functional expertise has been technology research, product marketing and marketing communications for the telecom industry. |

| After commencing his career in Mumbai with one of oldest law firms in India, he has developed several practises over the last few years. Further, in ALMT Legal he has developed several new areas of practise for the firm in India and abroad. During his extensive practise he has worked with the Government of India and State Government in Karnataka at various times being attached to the various legal officers of the respective governments. He has experience in working with public authorities, policy making bodies and departments of the governments during his career. |

Sreenivasa Reddy is a Graduate in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering with about 17 years of experience in telecommunication industry. Sreenivasa is currently working with "Ericsson India Pvt Limited" as General Manager - Marketing & Strategy representing Market Unit India & Srilanka. Prior to Ericsson, Sreenivasa worked with "Marconi" for about 9 years where he was involved in many international assignments on Broadband Networks with Leading Operators across Europe & Asia.

Mr. Shankar M Prasad, President – Broadband & Retail Business is a mechanical engineer from UVCE, Bangalore ('85) and an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur ('88). He started his career as an Engineer Trainee with Bharat Fritz Werner Ltd. in 1985. Post his MBA from XLRI, he worked with Blow Plast Ltd. as Area Sales Executive in the Leo Toys Division for 2 years. In 1990 he moved to Wiltech India, where he worked for over a year and left them as Sr. Area Sales Manager in Bangalore. Mr. Prasad moved as Group Leader, Toyota Division of Suhail and Saud Bahwan in 1991, based out of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman where he spent a little over 4 years. In 1996 he moved back to Bangalore with Pagepoint Services where he held several marketing / customer service and operations portfolios in his 4 year stint. He next moved as AGM -Marketing with BPL Mobile in Mumbai where he spent a year. Since August 2001, Mr. Prasad was with Bharti Airtel Ltd., starting as GM - Sales for Karnataka till March 2003. He took over as Vice President - Customer Service Delivery, Karnataka - a role he held till January 2004. Post this he moved as Chief Operating Officer for the UP (East) circle. Mr. Prasad joined the Tata group on August 8, 2007 as President for Broadband at Tata Communications, which is responsible for broadband, dial-up internet, WiFi and content services.
